How to add your tools to a group, set availability, and share with people you trust.
Adding tools
Open a group you're in, then go to Tools. Use Add tool to list an item: name, optional description, and category. Only group members can see and request your tools.
A photo and a clear category make your tools much easier to find. It takes about 30 seconds per tool.
Setting availability
When a tool is available, others can submit a borrow request. When someone has it, mark it as lent (or it may update when you approve a request). You can mark it available again when it's returned.
Lend directly to a friend
If someone asks you in person, you can lend a tool directly without waiting for a formal request. Open the tool and choose Lend to… to select a group member. The loan is recorded just like a normal request.
Lending directly skips the request flow entirely — useful when your neighbor just asked you in person.
Managing your tools
From the group's tools list you can edit or remove a tool. Edit to change the name, description, or category. Remove to take it off the list entirely.
