Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the 2904-20 and the older 2804-20?
The 2904-20 adds a fourth speed, bumps torque from 1,200 to 1,400 in-lbs, and includes AutoStop control mode for safer operation with large bits. Same price point. If you're buying new, get the 2904.
Is the compact 2902-20 strong enough for concrete?
For Tapcon screws, small anchors, and holes up to 3/8 inch in concrete or brick, it's fine. For larger holes or harder aggregate, the 2904-20 pushes through faster and doesn't stall as easily.
Can I use M12 batteries in M18 hammer drills?
No. M12 and M18 are different platforms with different battery connectors. They don't interchange.
