DeWalt's DWE7491RS is the best-selling jobsite table saw in America. At $649 it includes a rolling stand and a 32-1/2" rip capacity that handles full sheet goods. The smaller DWE7485 at $399 is lighter and cheaper but limits rip capacity to 24-1/2".

DeWalt N/A (corded) Platform

Both models are corded (15A). DeWalt does make a FLEXVOLT cordless table saw (DCS7485T1) but it's a niche product at $599 bare with limited rip capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the 32-1/2" rip capacity?

If you ever rip full 4x8 sheets of plywood, yes. The 32-1/2" capacity on the DWE7491RS lets you rip a sheet in half lengthwise with the factory fence. The DWE7485 at 24-1/2" can't do that. For trim-only work, the smaller saw is fine.

Is the DeWalt DWE7491RS good enough for furniture making?

For a jobsite saw, it's one of the best. The rack-and-pinion fence is accurate and repeatable. It won't match a cabinet saw on vibration or dust collection, but plenty of furniture makers use it in garage shops.
