How Borrowing Works
Find tools shared by your group and request to borrow them in a few taps.
Browse Available Tools
Once you've joined a group, you can browse tools that group members have shared. Use the Borrow Tools tab to search by name, category, or filter by availability.
Request to Borrow
Found what you need? Tap "Request to Borrow" on any available tool. You can include an optional message to the owner and suggest a return date. The owner will be notified of your request.
Wait for Approval
The tool owner reviews your request and can approve or deny it. You'll receive a notification either way. While waiting, you can check the status of your request from the Borrow Requests page.
Pick Up and Use
Once approved, arrange pickup with the owner using the messaging feature. The tool will show as "Borrowed" in both your and the owner's dashboards.
Return on Time
Return the tool by the agreed-upon date. The owner will mark it as returned in the app. You'll both see the loan update on your dashboards.
