ACDelco sells digital torque wrenches that display the reading on an LCD screen instead of relying on a click or beam. The ARM601-4A is their bestseller: a 1/2-drive digital wrench that buzzes and beeps at the target torque. Easier to read than analog, but relies on a battery.
ACDelco N/A (manual tool, AAA batteries for display) Platform
Requires 3x AAA batteries for the digital display. The wrench works mechanically without batteries, but you lose the digital readout and alerts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are digital torque wrenches more accurate than click wrenches?
Not necessarily. Both the ACDelco and a good click wrench run at +/-2% to +/-4%. The digital display is easier to read, but accuracy depends on calibration, not the readout method.
What happens when the batteries die?
You lose the digital display and alert features. The wrench still applies torque, but you have no way to read the value. Keep spare AAA batteries in your tool bag.
